A Touch of Speed™ (ATOS) is a youth organization located in North Charleston, South Carolina. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for youth athletes in the Tri-County area. To ensure each athlete achieve the highest level of competition to further transcend their lives and to challenge their minds, bodies, and content of character one step at a time.
Our track and field team currently has about 45 student-athletes. Our athletes age range is from 6 to 18. This past year we had 29 athletes to make it to the AAU regional meet and 12 qualified for the AAU Junior National Games. We also had several athletes that participated at the USATF Junior National Championships. We had 1 AAU All American (Naadia Rampersant) and 3 USATF All Americans (Cailyn Webber, Sophie Webber, and Skylar Gates).
Registration is currently closed. We are no longer accepting athletes for this season. Online registration will open in September for athletes that would like to participate in indoor track and field.
A Touch of Speed™ currently have 4 USATF Level I certified coaches and 1 USATF Level II Certified coach in Sprint, Hurdles, and Relays as well as Youth Development. It is important to our coaching staff to provide our athletes with the best training program with a mix of education and experience. Our goal is to provide each athlete with the tools and resources they need to be successful on the track and field.
We participate in the AAU and USATF youth track and field sanctions. We offer indoor and outdoor track and field training.
